Film and Digital Distribution

Our archive storage service is used by a wide range of businesses from Charities to Film, TV and Pharmaceutical companies. The archive store is a secure area in which humidity levels are carefully monitored. Security camera’s are in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.


We operate a Red Care Fire Alarm System with Air Sampling Detectors on 2 levels. Roof level has Stratos panels. To keep your archive records accurate and up to date you can use the DH Media Solutions catalogue system, which comes with comprehensive on site training and customer support.

If you want to retrieve items from the vault, we can provide a next day service, or a special same day response to suit your needs.

Environmental Storage

Our 40,000 sq.ft warehouse is an environmental storage area where we store media at a constant temperature of 18 Centigrade + - 2C with a humidity level below 50% RH. All the material we store on behalf of our customers will be bar coded and allocated to bar code shelving, this is an ideal environment for master material where long term storage is envisaged.

Our Film Library is accessible from 8.00am through to 6.30pm Monday’s to Friday. We employ qualified personnel in the Film Library Department who have many years of experience in the industry. Therefore we are able to offer ‘Peace of Mind’ to our clients who can relax in the knowledge that all their material is being handled in the most professional manner.

All material that enters our warehouse will be verified, bar coded and entered in to our computer system, whether it is to be stored long term or be sent out immediately for distribution. All our facilities are available and can be accessed via our web link.

Our storage libraries are in secured areas inside our warehouse, with separate security locks.

Both our facilities and transport is FACT accredited.

Confidential Recycling

DH Media Solutions provides a tape disposal service that not only gives you peace of mind, where copyright is of a concern, but it is “totally environmentally friendly”. Destruction certificates can be provided if required.

Tape Evaluation

Evaluated tape is widely used within the media industry throughout the world. Since at least the 70’s many companies whether major broadcasting association, an
independent production company or cameraman have profited from the savings made on either buying A Grade Recycled tape or by having their own tapes recycled for re-use.

If you have tape stock that you would like to be recycled for re-use then we at DH Media Solutions can clean, erase, and have the tapes evaluated. They will be re-packaged complete with plain white labels and we will deliver back to you for a fraction of the cost of a new tape.

DH Media Solutions can evaluate most modern brands from Betacam SP, Digital Betacam to the latest DV formats. The pass rate of your tape will depend on the quality and how your tape has been stored.
